Recruitment Day - 20th September 2010

The OnboardSpa Company is holding a Recruitment Day on Monday 20th September 2010 at Canary Wharf in London.

This is a great opportunity for Beauty Therapists, Hair Stylists, Nail Technicians, Massage Therapists and Fitness Trainers who are looking to work in a spa onboard a cruise ship.

The event will start with a number of presentations from key personnel from The OnboardSpa Company. The afternoon will give you the opportunity to showcase your skills by taking part in a trade test, where you will be assessed on your level of competence. In some case you will be required to provide your own equipment and uniforms - please see the Checklist below for more information.

What to bring with you

When you attend the event, please ensure you bring the following documents with you.

• CV
• Copies of trade certificates
• Copy of passport
• Copies of any additional industry-related training
• Equipment to conduct the trade test (see table below)

You will be required to bring along various documentation including your CV, which will enable our shoreside staff to indicate to you if you have the correct qualifications and experience for a position within The OnboardSpa Company. We ask that you arrive in smart professional attire for 10.45am so that we can receive your documents in time for the start of the event at 11am.

Depending on which profession you are trained in, you will need to bring along your own equipment to perform a trade test, which will take place in the afternoon. Some trade tests will be performed at Pepper St, whilst others will be held at O Spa London's spa located at 67 New Bond Street.

Please arrive at Pepper Street training academy for 11am so we can begin your introduction. From here we shall then make our way to the designated venues.

Please note: You will be performing the trade tests on other attendees, so it is advisable to bring your personal cosmetics should you need to re-apply after receiving a treatment.
