Employee testimonials
Celeste Maarsdorp, Nail technician
Ship: Cunard Queen Victoria
I am very proud to say that I am employed as a professional nail technician on the beautiful Queen Victoria. I am
well into the first part of my first 6 months contract and I love every second of this amazing adventure. It's a
real pleasure to be a part of such an amazing and flexible team. We run our own columns as our own individual
businesses; it benefits the team as a whole and our guests as they get our personal touch with every treatment.
We meet interesting people from all corners of the world and the wonderful. Exotic places that we get to see in such
a short space of time is a must do experience.
This isn't easy though, we work long and hard, but I have learnt a lot along the way, the rewards are far greater
than any job on land. My future prospects with the company are great and I might look into management after gaining
enough experience in the beauty field, but it's great knowing the opportunity is there.
Mypo Nyelee, Nail technician
I love travelling and seeing the World and am enjoying meeting with new people and making them feel good about
themselves after I've completed their treatment. Most of all every day is a learning experience for me. I enjoy
most training being offered by our manager. As that helps you to better your skills on a daily basis. Thank you!
