Hair Stylist Jobs

Ever dreamt of working as a Hair Stylist whilst travelling the world? With the Onboard Spa Company, you have the opportunity to train and gain experience as a Hair Stylist onboard some of the world's most luxurious cruise ships.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Applying hair stylists should have gained either NVQ Level 3, with work experience gained through the qualification, or NVQ Level 2, with 2 years work experience.

Required Qualifications for Australia and New Zealand

• Cert 3, or equivalent qualification
• Have obtained a 3 year apprenticeship

Training while at the Academy

All staff will receive training through our training academy in Southampton and will complete the following Guest Service Modules:

• Module 1: Great Customer Service
• Module 2: Assertiveness
• Module 3: Time Management
• Module 4: Work Life Balance
• Module 5: Handling Conflict in the work place
• Module 6: Customer Complaint Systems
• Module 7: Customer Service Surveys

Hair Stylists will also complete the following training modules:

• ALL aspects of L'Oreal/Matrix products, colour coding and mixing.
• Barbering
• Threading
• Teeth Whitening
• Balinese scalp Ritual
• Mini facials and skin products, eye lash tinting and eye brow tints
• Serenity Journeys
• AirBrush Make-Up
• Arriane Poole Make-Up
• Seminar Training
