How much will I earn onboard?
All of our staff are given targets and generous commissions. You will earn Pounds on many of our vessels.
Can I take my laptop onboard? Is there internet connection?
Many ships now have crew internet facilities and you will be able to take your laptop.
Why do I need to do training when I’m already qualified?
We provide additional specialty training from our Product House Partners as well as specific seminar and Guest Services Modules.
What plug sockets do they have onboard?
British vessels have UK sockets and American Vessels have US sockets.
Can I transfer money home?
There are many transfer failities availablke shoreside to make money transfers easy.
Where can I do my medical (my local doctor doesn’t do it)?
We shall provide a list o doctors who do it and ofcourse, we have many contacts close to the Academy in Southampton.
How many contracts do I have to do before I’m considered for a management position?
In most cases, we prefer you comlpete a full contract and then attend our highly regarded Management Training Programme. Often, talented team members learn many of the management responsibilities whilst they are onboard prior to attending the Management Training Programme so as to prepare you as best we can.
Who pays the accommodation costs when I’m onboard?
We pay all of your onboard accommodation and meal costs.
Do I get placed or can I choose which ship I’m going to embark?
Our team assess you whilst in-training and we match you to the requirements of each Cruise Line Partner. After a succesful 1st contract, you may request particular vessels in order of preference.
