Employee testimonials
Amy Breslin, Beauty Therapist
Ship: Ventura
My name is Amy. I’m a facialist onboard the new P&O ship, Ventura.
I have been working on cruise ships for over a year. My first ship was Ocean Village 2. It is such a great way to
earn and save money. You have free food 24 hrs and you don’t pay any rent. So it’s really easy to save money.
I love waking up somewhere different every day and there is a different place to explore on your day off, The sights
you see are amazing. My treatment room has a window so I can look at the sea all day. The work itself can be very
tiring as the hours are very long but I don’t mind as I’m doing what I enjoy. But if you are a hard worker and can
put the hours in you reap the benefits. My decision to work on a cruise ship has been my best career move yet.
Maryke Van Rhyan, Oxyjet Specialist
Ship: Oceana
I love being able to do what I enjoy, whilst being surrounded by a strong and supportive team. Working onboard gives
me the opportunity to run my own small business at sea. At time my work is hard and stressful, but it is worth it
when I get to wake up each day in different places all around the World.
